The Kahului Airport terminal has all the amenities you would expect. You will be able to easily find check-in, TSA, airline counters, baggage claim, transportation, car rental, food, souvenirs, rest rooms, etc.
There are no car rental company vehicles parked at the OGG terminal. Shuttles are constantly running to transport you to your rental car company. Shuttles are clearly marked for easy recognition.

Visitors arriving at Kahului Airport have several choices for traveling around the Island.
Car Rental - We recommend using Maui Car Rental Discount. They rent cars from eleven major national car rental companies at discount prices.
Maui Bus - This is an economical way to travel around Maui. Check further for the routes around the Island. There are over a dozen routes throughout Maui. The service is affordable, for local people. We do not recommend using this bus service to tour the Island.
The County of Maui operates a public transit system that provides limited service to the airport. Cash fares are $2.00 per person, per boarding, with the option of purchasing an all day pass for $4.00 per person, valid on all routes. No transfers are given, except from Commuter Service routes. An all route monthly pass is available at a cost of $45.00 with a reduced rate for students and seniors of $30.00.
Taxi Service - There is a Taxi Dispatch stand located in the Baggage Claim Area. This is the official airport licensed taxi services.
There are numerous taxi companies on Maui. We also have Uber and Lyft on the Island.
