Maui is a tropical Island. Expect it to be warm and sunny. Dress for warm weather. If you plan to go upcountry to Haleakala National Park bring a jacket. Haleakala National Park is at 10,000 feet above sea level. It is going to be cold. You'll see aircraft flying into Kahului Airport OGG below your altitude on the mountain. On any given day, the temperatures in the park can range from a high of 80°F (27°C) in Kīpahulu near Hana side of the park to a low of 30°F (-1°C) at the summit. In either area clouds and rain can quickly replace warm sunshine.
Maui temperatures range about 70 Fahrenheit to 90 Fahrenheit all year round at sea level. Daytime temperatures are generally low to mid 80's. Nighttime about 10 degrees cooler.
